1 INTRODUCTION
This is the Return and Refund Policy for www.acornkids.co.za. This website is owned and operated by Acornkids (Proprietary) Limited, and full details and contact information are provided in our Terms of Use Policy.
Acornkids takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
2 FAULTY GOODS
We undertake to replace any product delivered to you that is faulty. If you wish to return a faulty product, please notify us by email, at info@acornkids.co.za, with the order number, details of the problem, and your contact details.
Upon receipt of your email, we will investigate the issue, and advise you if the replacement has been approved. If your return is approved, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
If, for any reason, we are unable at the time of return to replace a faulty product, we undertake to reimburse your credit card for the amount initially debited, including freight.
3 OTHER RETURNS
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or unworn with original labels, tags etc., and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please email us at info@acornkids.co.za, and advise that you wish to return the order. If your request is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
4 DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
5 NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom-made products, and gift cards.
6 EXCHANGES
Should you wish to exchange a product, the simplest way is to return it within the 7 day period, receive a refund, and make a separate purchase for the new item. Remember, return-shipping costs are for your own account.
7 REFUNDS
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. We only refund the full original purchase price of the product, not the return-shipping costs. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
8 RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Return shipping costs are refundable if the product is received as defective, and the return has been approved by Acornkids.
